As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for entering all accounts payable and accounts receivable items into the accounting software.
This position requires punctuality, reliability, excellent prioritization skills, ability to multitask efficiently without compromising accuracy, and great computer/technology skills.
Responsibilities Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner.
Review and reconcile vendor statements and invoices.
Handle billing and collections for all clients.
Monitor accounts for discrepancies and resolve any issues as necessary.
Prepare and distribute invoices to clients.
Create and maintain customer and vendor files.
Perform data entry into QuickBooks and other software programs.
Prepare and analyze financial reports as needed.
Communicate with customers, vendors, and team members as needed to resolve issues or answer questions.
Special projects as necessary.
