Job DescriptionHas 24/7 responsibility for leadership and management functions of an operational business unit (s).
Demonstrate the ability to manage a diverse work team to accomplish the strategic plan of the organization.
Responsible for the delivery of evidence-based quality patient care and managing the daily operations of a business unit, including staffing, budget, supplies, equipment, and physician relations.
Responsible for hiring, evaluating, and maintaining competent staff to serve patient needs in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Provide direct patient care as required.
Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in interactions with all patients, families, visitors and other associates.
QualificationsEducation, Credentials, BSN.
Graduate of accredited School of NursingLicensed to practice nursing in the State of Kentucky.
Meets contact hours requirements forLicensure, including all state-required courses.
Specialized Ability to direct self and others and interpret nursing Policies and Procedures and standards.
Knowledge of Management theory.
Demonstrates application of Leadership concepts.
Clinical expertise relevant.
Kind and Length of 3 years nursing experience; experience relevant to the specific clinical area experience as Assistant Nurse Manager or equivalent position and experience with staffing/scheduling and managing a unit/department budget Recommended Skills Clinical Works Friendliness Health Care Leadership Nursing Receptive Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
