BBS is looking for a part-time bookkeeper that will be responsible for maintaining, preparing, and reporting accounting records for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day bookkeeping entries and complete the posting process.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are entered correctly.
- Prepare financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
- Oversee and reconcile employee expenses (invoices, receipts, credit card statements/transactions).
Qualifications:
- Must have 3
years of prior bookkeeping experience - Experience with Sage and/or QuickBooks preferred - Fundamental knowledge of generally accepted accounting principals - Deadline and detail oriented - Ability to prioritize and multitask - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Accounting, or Finance preferred, or equivalent experience.
