Job Duties - Assess patients' needs and evaluate their physical condition to determine the appropriate orthotic or prosthetic device - Design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic limbs or other orthopedic devices for patients - Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop a comprehensive treatment plan - Provide ongoing care and adjustments to orthotic and prosthetic devices to ensure optimal fit and function - Educate patients on the proper use and maintenance of their devices - Document patient progress and maintain accurate records Experience - Patient Age Range:
Experience working with pediatric, adult & geriatric patients and addressing their unique needs in orthotic and prosthetic care - Physical examinations:
Proficiency in conducting physical examinations to assess patients' physical condition and determine appropriate treatment options - Patient care:
Ability to provide compassionate and patient focused care.
- Patient service:
Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients, address their concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with their orthotic or prosthetic device - Post residency:
Completion of a NCOPE residency program in Prosthetics and Orthotics This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Orthotist and Prosthetist to make a positive impact on the lives of patients by providing them with customized prosthetic solutions.
