Summary:
Our Activities Assistants assist the Activity Director with the daily resident activity program.
Job Type:
Full time Schedule:
Monday - Friday with Weekend Rotation Great benefits! We supply PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and stronger infection control and testing procedures to keep you and our residents safe! Work with a leader that leads by example PTO Accrual Flexible Schedules Competitive pay 401K available after first year Overtime available Insurance options available
Responsibilities:
Assist the Activity Director with daily resident activity programs.
Communicate regularly with resident families and entire care team.
Assist Preparing and reviewing monthly newsletter & activities calendar as needed by Director.
Lead group activities.
Report and document resident's progress.
Visits with residents on a one-on-one basis as directed.
Ensure documentation meets compliance with regulatory standards.
Reports to the Activities Director on resident's responses and/or progress to specific approaches utilized and maintains appropriate documentation.
Effectively manages the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making skills for the specific area.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education:
Activities Experience preferred but not required.
High School Diploma or equivalent education.
