On April 28th, 2014 Toyota announced it is uniting its separate headquarters locations in North America-including Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., Toyota Financial Services, Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. and Toyota Motor North America- to a single, shared campus in North Dallas Community of Plano, Texas. In addition, we are also expanding our Technical Center on the York campus near Ann Arbor, Michigan and constructing a new facility on Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentuckys campus in Georgetown, KY to house Production Engineering.
This position is currently located in Erlanger, KY and will be relocating to Plano, TX during 2017.
The purpose of the role is to prepare accurate and timely information related to TEMA fixed assets and TMAL fixed assets. The position is responisble for the TEMA TPC/TOC fixed assets and the TEMA capital budget. This position will also be required to support supplier tooling audits.
Manage operation / function
Preparation of monthly journal entries for NAMC fixed assets and CIP
Reconciliation of NAMC A/M system to GL
Reconciliation of NAMC CIP to GL
Explanation of the NAMC monthly depreciation variance
Back up for month and close processing for People Soft Asset Management System
Monthly review of TEMA controlled NAMC capital budget vs actual
Review of iFFEM capital budget and depreciation budget information
Manage projects
TEMA project handovers for respective NAMC's fixed assets
Coordination of information gathering for TEMA controlled capital projects
Quarterly forecast of NAMC depreciation expense
Manage processes
Release of NAMC CIP for TEMA-PE projects
Release of NAMC TPC/TOC CIP and asset management
Analysis and control of assets held for future use
Lead and support supplier tooling audits
Resolve problems
Understanding the complexity of intangible assets related to I/S purchases
Using the Toyota Asset Policies to address capitalization questions related to fixed assets
Working with NAMC divisions to complete the physical inventory of the fixed assets on a timely basis
QualificationsRequired
College degree - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Preferred Requirements
CPA
Accounting experience
Project leadership experience
Toyota Experience
Ability to work with minimal supervisionEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
